- Advice to farmers and landowners on archaeology and the historic environment.
- Advice and assistance on dealing with archaeology in the planning process.
- Advice and assistance on the management of archaeological features, for example, the preparation of consolidation specifications for such features as lime kilns.
- Advice and assistance on scheduled monument consent.
