Access for all

Everyone has the right to access to the countryside in the Yorkshire National Park. Choose from our Miles without Stiles downloadable routes perfect for wheelchairs, pushchairs and a post-pub-lunch amble. You can also buy route cards at National Park Centres. To see where the routes can be found in the National Park have a look at the interactive map.

What is the Tramper?

The Tramper is a specially designed, four-wheel-drive, all-terrain, electric buggy. It can be used off road and even on rough ground, mud and grass. It's great for those who have difficulty walking to accompany friends and families out in the countryside.

A tramper is available to hire from the National Trust site at Malham Tarn where there is a popular trail around the lake.

A second tramper is available at Clapham to explore the lovely nature trail up to Ingleborough Cave. See the Ingleborough Cave website for contact details - just get in touch with them to book.

Group visits for those with disabilities
