Market Towns


Hawes is a small market town in Wensleydale. With many popular visitor attractions, it also makes a great base to explore the Dales.

The small city of Ripon boasts a wonderful 7th century cathedral and bustling market square. It is a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.


Sedbergh, one of Britain's leading 'Book Towns', is famous for its independent school. It lies under the massive backdrop of the Howgill Fells.


The town of Settle enjoys a splendid setting at the edge of some of England's most dramatic limestone country.


Skipton is the perfect southern gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Centred on the Leeds to Liverpool canal, it is famous for its market.
