Where to stay

There is a full range of places to stay from campsites to boutique hotels throughout the Yorkshire Dales

Aysgarth, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 3TH (grid reference: SE 012 888)

Perfectly situated to visit the superb waterfalls on the River Ure, the National Park Centre can also point you in the direction of other lovely walks in the area taking in the surrounding woods or heading up to the lovely villages of Carperby or Aysgarth. Next to the Centre is the Coppice Café which serves a great selection of drinks and meals largely made with locally-sourced ingredients.

There is car parking for 80 cars but the car park is not accessible for coaches. Coach parking is available at the Falls car park by the junction with the A684 road.

There is a regular bus service between Leyburn and Hawes which provides access to the village of Aysgarth. The National Park Centre and Falls are a 10 minute walk away.

Opening hours

February 16 to March 3, 10am to 4pm
April to October, daily, 10am to 5pm.
November to March, weekends  10am to 4pm

Open December 21, 22 and December 27 to 29.

Closed throughout January, emails will be read and answered!
