Colt Park Wood

Natural England own and manage this special area of limestone woodland which is part of the Ingleborough National Nature Reserve (NNR). The main trees are ash and they scramble over the rocky limestone terrain. Underneath the trees, a delightful range of woodland flowers can be seen.

This site requires a permit to visit. These are available free of charge by contacting the NNR Team at Colt Park Barn. NNR staff are usually on the site each weekday between 9am and 5pm, and sometimes at weekends and Bank Holidays. Contact the reserve manager on 01524 242021 for further information.
