We offer a very limited number of placements to students in higher education or people looking to gain work experience.
What sort of placements are available?
Placements could include:
- Working with our Ranger teams.
- Helping our Communications team
- Carrying out a specific project for our Built Heritage team.
- Assisting at the Dales Countryside Museum, Hawes.
Opportunities will vary depending on the needs of the Authority and the experience of the individual.
How long do they last?
Vocational placements are usually long term, one or two days per week, but each one will be different depending on the opportunities.
How to apply
Any available work placements are advertised on our current opportunities page. Work placement opportunities are very limited.
Unfortunately because of the amount of enquiries we can not reply to individual enquiries about work placements.
